User Reviews

Reviewers mostly praise the game’s depth, visuals, and portability, but repeatedly flag the Android port for poor touch controls, save/progress issues, missing PC content on mobile, crashes/long load times, and DRM-related offline restrictions. The core roguelike experience is highly regarded, with strong cross-device play, but these port-specific problems frequently dampen the overall experience.
Pros
  • Deep, replayable roguelike with rich strategic depth.
  • Beautiful visuals and overall polished presentation.
  • Excellent core gameplay that translates well from PC.
  • Strong fan praise and sense of being a must-play experience.
  • Good cross-device compatibility (Android and Chromebook) enabling seamless play across devices.
Cons
  • Poor touchscreen controls and port experience, with frustrating card deselection/targeting issues.
  • Save and progress problems: cloud saves not working, data loss, and unreliable saving across sessions.
  • Missing PC content on mobile (e.g., certain cards) that limits build variety.
  • Stability issues including crashes and long load times in some cases.
  • DRM restrictions hinder offline play and require online access.

played it for 300 hours on pc and I'll probably play it another 300 on mobile

I know the game itself is good (after all I have 30~ hours on the console port,) hence the 4 star review, but whenever I try loading the game, I can't start a save to play at all. It asks me for my name to start the save file, and nothing I type saves. When the keyboard on my device disappears, I can't select the text box to type my name anymore.
