The app helps patients stay connected with their clinical care team by providing visibility into prescribed treatments and enabling the tracking of key health data.

kinexus supports both Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) and Automated Peritoneal Dialysis (APD) patients, offering a clear and structured view of their therapy information.

1. Prescription Visibility
Patients can view their current dialysis prescriptions at any time, helping them stay informed and aligned with their care plan.
• CAPD: View manual exchange schedules and prescribed solution types
• APD: Review programmed therapy settings for the cycler treatment

2. Treatment Data Logging
• CAPD: For patients performing manual exchanges, kinexus functions as a digital logbook. Patients can record CAPD exchanges directly in the app, including:
• Fill volumes and solution concentrations
• Drain volumes and ultrafiltration results
• Dwell times
• APD: APD treatment data and cycler logs are not captured or submitted through the app.
This information is made available to the clinical care team to support ongoing therapy monitoring.

3. Health Vitals Tracking
To support daily monitoring and overall wellness, both APD and CAPD patients can manually enter and track key health measurements, including:
• Blood pressure
• Blood glucose
• Body temperature
• Weight (pre- and post-dialysis)
