Every morning, Color Hunt gives you one color.

Not a neon color you will never meet. A real one: the green of a leaf in shade, the orange of a rusted door, the blue of the sky an hour before dusk.

Your job is simple. Go outside and find it.

Point your camera at the world. A crosshair reads whatever sits under it, and a meter tells you how close you are. When it locks on, take the shot. That color becomes yours, saved with a poetic name, its hex value and the photo you took.

Over weeks something quiet happens. Your palettes fill up. Your months start to have a color. Your city, your seasons, your walks slowly turn into an archive you built by paying attention.

Color Hunt is completely free. No advertising, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, nothing locked. There is no sign-up and no server: your photos and your colors are stored only on your phone, and we never see them. It works without an internet connection.

A NOTE ON ACCURACY
Color Hunt is a game, not a measuring instrument. Phone cameras adjust white balance and exposure on their own, so a reading is always an approximation. That is part of the fun, not a bug.
