QELM is the time clock your crew actually uses. Pick the job, tap once, and the hours land on the timesheet the office sees.

CLOCK IN AGAINST THE JOB
Pick the job and tap once to start your shift. The app remembers the job you worked last, so most mornings it is one tap and nothing else. Every punch confirms back the job and the time it booked, so you know it went through before the phone goes back in your pocket.

CLOCK IN WITHOUT OPENING THE APP
Clock in and out from a home-screen widget or a Quick Settings tile. The widget shows the job and whether you are on the clock.

WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL
Basements, new builds, the far end of a site. A punch taken with no bars is saved on the phone and sent the moment signal comes back, even if the app was closed in between. It books the time you actually took it, not the time it arrived. Your pay does not move because the site had no service.

TYPE THE ADDRESS INSTEAD
Working somewhere the office has not created a job for yet? Type the site address and punch against that. The app suggests matching addresses and you pick the right one — nothing is ever chosen for you.

SEE YOUR WEEK BEFORE PAYDAY
Every shift in the week, grouped by day, with the punch times and the hours behind each one. The week's total sits at the top, and approval shows once for the whole week.

ASK FOR A CORRECTION
Forgot to clock out? Tap the shift, put in the times you actually worked, say what happened. It goes to your manager as a request. Nobody edits their own hours, which is what keeps the timesheet worth trusting.

LEFT THE APP CLOCKED IN?
A shift left open too long to clock out of normally can be closed from the app with the time it actually ended. No call to the office needed to fix it.

PHOTOGRAPH A RECEIPT
Buy materials, photograph the receipt — with the camera or from your gallery — and the app reads the vendor, the total and the date off the paper for you. Check it, pick the job, done.

UNLOCK WITHOUT TYPING
After you sign in, QELM can open with your fingerprint or your phone's PIN. You choose on first launch, and saying no is a normal answer.

SIGN IN WITHOUT REMEMBERING A PASSWORD
We email you a link. Tap it once and you are in. A password sign-in is there too if you prefer it. There is no password to write on a job site.

ABOUT LOCATION
The app records where you were at the moment you punch, so your employer can verify the hours they are paying for. That is the only time it reads location. There is no geofence, nothing is recorded between punches, and nothing is recorded while the app is closed. A punch never waits on a slow GPS fix — if the location cannot be read, the punch still goes through.

WHAT YOU NEED
QELM is used by construction and trade companies. Your employer sets up your account and adds you to the workspace; you cannot sign yourself up. If your company does not use QELM yet, ask your office about it.
