Mini Hear Test

Mini Hear Test is a simple hearing screening and evaluation app that helps you better understand your hearing sensitivity.
The app uses your earphones to perform hearing tests and estimates hearing levels in decibels hearing level (dB HL). The results can help you understand your hearing capability and provide general information about your hearing sensitivity.

Hearing level classification is based on commonly used dB HL ranges:

· Normal: –10 to 15 dB HL
· Slight: 16 to 25 dB HL
· Mild: 26 to 40 dB HL
· Moderate: 41 to 55 dB HL
· Moderately severe: 56 to 70 dB HL
· Severe: 71 to 90 dB HL
· Profound: 91+ dB HL

Calibration
For more reliable results, your earphones should be calibrated before testing.
You can choose between:
· Full calibration: Use one or more people between 18 and 35 years old with normal hearing to create calibration values.
· Quick calibration: Perform calibration at 1000 Hz only. Other frequency values are estimated using the ISO 226:2003 standard, assuming the earphones have a consistent frequency response.
If multiple calibration results are available, the app can calculate an average calibration value. Calibration data can also be removed when needed.

Hearing Tests
After calibration, you can perform hearing screening tests and review your results.
The app also provides single-frequency testing, allowing you to manually select:

Left or right ear
Test frequency
Sound amplitude level
During testing, tap the screen whenever you hear a beep. You can pause or continue the test with a long press, and speed up the process with a double press.
