QuakeWatch can periodically check the latest USGS earthquake data in the background and notify you when an earthquake meets the configured alert criteria.

Background checks are subject to Android's background execution and notification policies, so notification delivery may vary depending on device and system conditions.

QuakeWatch is designed to make seismic information easy to explore, whether you want a quick overview of worldwide activity or want to investigate earthquakes near a particular location.

🎁 Rewarded credits

QuakeWatch includes a credit system for location searches. When available, users can optionally watch a rewarded advertisement to earn an additional search credit.

🔐 Privacy-conscious design

Location access is used locally on your device for proximity-related features. QuakeWatch does not explicitly send your device's GPS coordinates to its earthquake data service.

The app uses Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for advertising and consent management. Advertising and consent-related data may be processed according to Google's policies and your choices.

Location search uses OpenStreetMap Nominatim.

Map data and services are provided by the respective map and geocoding providers.
