Krishna Hospital

Krishna Hospital — the clinic's own app for its GLP-1 weight programme.

This is a staff app. It is used by the front desk and by the doctor at Krishna Hospital. Patients do not use it: there is no patient login, and nothing for a patient to install.

WHO SIGNS IN

The app opens by asking who is signing in — Front desk or Doctor — and each gets their own sign-in. The front desk uses a staff ID and a PIN, once at the start of the shift. The doctor uses an email and a password. What a person can see is decided by their account, not by the button they tapped.

AT THE FRONT DESK

• Register a new patient in three steps: details, measurements, safety check. The hospital number is issued automatically.
• Take height, weight, waist and hip on large plus-and-minus buttons, or tap the figure and type it.
• BMI and waist-to-hip ratio are worked out for you. There is no BMI field anywhere in the app.
• Ask the five safety questions out loud and record the answers. Three of them stop the programme; the doctor decides what happens next.
• Run today's OPD queue, with a token for each patient.
• Take the one-time file charge — cash, UPI or card.
• Take the visit check-in at every appointment: the same four measurements, whether the injection was taken, and how the patient is feeling.
• Work the appointment book — who did not come, who is expected today, what is coming up — with the number to ring.

IN THE CONSULTING ROOM

• Today's list, with each patient's BMI and her week, and anything urgent at the top.
• The full safety answers, the doctor's own history notes, and the weight chart week by week.
• Build a course: a dose and a consultation fee for every week, with the dates. Add a week or take one off at any time.
• The dose ladder never restarts — the next course opens at the dose the last one ended on, and the app says so before you save.
• The weekly review: what she reported this week, and the day and time of her next visit.
• Collect the weekly consultation week by week, never as a package.
• Send the patient a one-page progress report on WhatsApp, written for her to read rather than for a clinician.
• The practice at a glance: who has been seen, where every patient sits on the dose ladder, and the money for today and this month.

BUILT FOR A BUSY COUNTER

• Works offline. A full registration can be finished with the network down, and the app says plainly when something is saved on the phone and still on its way. Nothing is lost.
• A severe side effect reaches the doctor in seconds. The report and the alert are saved together, or neither is saved at all.
• BMI cannot be edited by anyone. It is calculated from height and weight every time it is shown, so there is no stored copy to go stale.
• The front desk sees names, tokens and the file charge. Medical history, doses, consultation fees and clinic earnings stay with the doctor — enforced by the clinic's records, not by which screen happens to be open.
• Only the doctor can create a front-desk account. The PIN is shown once and can be reset, never read back.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO

• It does not sell or dispense medicine. The injection is bought at the hospital pharmacy.
• It does not process payments. It records that an amount was paid and whether it was cash, UPI or card — never a card number, a UPI ID or a bank detail.
• It does not give patients a login, and it does not do video consultations.
• It does not run any programme other than this one.
