AN HOUR METER THAT CANNOT LIE

Mileage tells you nothing about engine wear. Two bikes showing 200 hours may have lived two very different lives: the track, weekend rides, or city traffic. That is why manufacturers give service intervals in hours as soon as you leave the road.

With a HOROTAG RUUVI device, your engine hours climb on their own over Bluetooth — no wiring to run, no meter to stick on the handlebar. Every hour is sealed server-side: it cannot be lowered. Not by you, not by a workshop, not by us.


THE SERVICE LOGBOOK, ACTUALLY KEPT

Oil, pads, chain, piston, tyres: each job is logged in two taps, with its hours, date and cost.

The app warns you when a service is coming up, based on your bike's real intervals — manufacturer schedules are preloaded for the main brands and models.

When it is time to sell, you generate a cryptographically signed PDF logbook. The buyer scans a QR code and checks the full history. It is your bike's mechanical identity card.


KNOWING WHERE IT IS

With a HOROTAG GPS or HOROTAG ULTIMATE GPS device, your bike opens on the map: position, parked or moving, anti-theft armed.

If it moves without you, you get an alert with its position. You answer "that's normal", "I'm checking" or "it's a theft". Trust zones (home, garage, practice ground) prevent false alarms, and "I'm riding" mode mutes alerts for the duration of your session.

Once a theft is declared, you switch to live tracking and generate a timestamped PDF report, ready to hand to the police and your insurer.


YOUR RIDES, YOUR STATS

With an ULTIMATE GPS, every ride is recorded: duration, distance, speed, route on the map. The GPS gives you the duration and positions logged along the way, with no route or mileage. Monthly view.

The Paddock connects you to other riders: your rider QR code follows you everywhere, you scan someone else's and you are in touch.


WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE INSTALLING

The app works with a HOROTAG device, sold separately. Three models depending on what you are after:

• HOROTAG RUUVI — the automatic hour meter, over Bluetooth. Up to 5 years of battery life.
• HOROTAG GPS — GPS anti-theft, on any bike, dirt bikes included. 3.3 to 5.5 years of battery life depending on how much you ride, IP68 waterproof casing.
• HOROTAG ULTIMATE GPS — the detailed track of every ride, and an alert when the bike sets off. 2.5 to 9.1 years of battery life: it takes thirty times more fixes, and that costs battery.

The service logbook is identical on all three. However, only the RUUVI counts hours automatically and seals them: on both GPS trackers, hours are estimated from your trips and you can adjust them.

You can also manage a bike with no device at all, keeping the logbook and hours by hand.


NO SUBSCRIPTION

One payment for the device, and that is it. No monthly subscription, no network fees: the trackers' 4G IoT SIM is included for 10 years.

The app is free and stays that way. Two optional one-off purchases exist, only if you need them: managing a bike with no device at all (€49), and moving a tracker to another bike (€9). Nothing else, ever.

Your data is yours. You can export it, and delete your account from the settings or from horotag.com/legal/delete-account.


App developed in France. The RUUVI sensor is made in Finland, the GPS trackers by Digital Matter; every device is programmed, tested and packed in France.
