Overview

Features & Capabilities

TiltFlow scrolls the page for you when you tilt your phone gently to one side, so you can
read one-handed without swiping.

Tilt one way to move forward through an article. Tilt the other way to go back. Return to
your normal reading position and scrolling stops. The further you tilt, the faster it
scrolls, so you stay in control of the pace.

ONLY WHERE YOU WANT IT
TiltFlow does nothing until you say where it should work. Pick your browser, your e-book
reader, your PDF app — and TiltFlow stays completely inactive everywhere else. Open your
messages, camera, or maps and it switches itself off. Go back to reading and it comes back
on. You never have to remember to turn it on or off.

MADE TO FEEL NATURAL
- Calibrate your own neutral position, so it works however you hold your phone.
- Adjust how far you must tilt before scrolling begins.
- Adjust how far you tilt to reach full speed.
- Swap the tilt directions if you prefer them the other way round.
- Move the invisible swipe left, centre, or right for apps that need it.

GOOD FOR
- Long articles and news sites
- E-books and PDFs
- Reading while eating, cooking, or holding something else
- Anyone who finds repeated swiping tiring or difficult

HOW IT WORKS
TiltFlow uses your phone's motion sensor to measure sideways tilt, and Android's
Accessibility Service to perform the same swipe your finger would. Built-in step-by-step
instructions guide you through the setup.

PRIVACY
TiltFlow does not read the content of your screen. It cannot: the accessibility service is
declared without permission to retrieve window content.

To know whether it should be active, TiltFlow checks which app is currently open and
compares it against the list you chose. That check happens on your device and is never
recorded or shared.

TiltFlow has no account, no advertising, no analytics, and no network access whatsoever —
the released app requests no Android permissions at all. Nothing it observes can leave
your phone, because it has no way to send anything anywhere.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
TiltFlow asks you to enable an Accessibility Service, and explains why before it sends you
to the settings screen. The service is used for one purpose only: performing vertical
swipe gestures when you tilt the device. You can turn it off at any time, in TiltFlow or
in Android's Accessibility settings.

A NOTE ON COMPATIBILITY
TiltFlow works with apps that respond to normal swipe gestures. Some apps — certain games
and readers with copy protection — ignore simulated swipes and cannot be scrolled this
way.
