Keep what matters in one place
Favorite Contact brings your important people, links, media, and everyday apps together so you can open them quickly from a single app.

What you can do

• Favorite contacts (Call & SMS)
Add people with the system contact picker. Tap to start a call or open your SMS app. Optionally use “sync starred contacts” to pull contacts marked as favorites (starred) from your address book into the app—only when you choose that action.

• Web bookmarks
Save sites you visit often and open them in one tap. Links are opened using secure HTTPS where the app applies it. You can also save a page for offline reading when a normal web URL is available.

• Media bookmarks
Store photos, videos, and PDFs in your own lists and collections—handy for references or media you want at hand without digging through galleries or files.

• Favorite apps
Pin apps you use every day (e.g. messaging or social apps) and launch them with one tap. Availability depends on what’s installed on your device.

• Collections
Organize bookmarks and media into collections to keep things tidy.

Ads & privacy (where required)
The app may show ads. In regions where it’s required (for example the EEA or UK), Google’s consent tools may ask for your choices about ads. You can open ad-related privacy options from the menu when your device and policy require it.

Data stays on your device
Information you add (contacts you picked, bookmarks, media shortcuts, and notes you save in the app) is stored locally on your phone. The app is not designed to upload your personal lists to our servers.

Permissions (summary)
• CALL_PHONE — To place a phone call when you tap a favorite contact (where you grant it).
• READ_CONTACTS — Optional: only if you use starred-contact sync, to read which contacts are marked as favorites in your address book on the device.
• INTERNET — To open web links, load page information when you use related features, and to show ads.
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — Used with network-related features and advertising components.

We do not read your browser’s bookmark history; bookmarks in this app are the ones you save inside Favorite Contact.

Privacy-First Organization
All your personal additions—contacts, bookmarks, and media—are stored locally on your device. We do not upload your personal lists or collection data to our servers.

Permissions Explained
• Phone/Dialer: Used only to help you start a call with your favorite contacts.
• Contacts (Optional): Used only if you choose to sync your 'starred' favorites from your system address book.
• Internet: Required for opening web links and displaying relevant ads where applicable.

Note: We prioritize your privacy and do not access your browser history or third-party app data.
