HockeyIQ is a field hockey app built for the way clubs actually work: one app for the coach, one for the team, connected through a single invite code.

COACH APP — PREPARE THE WEEK

Upload a match video or a photo and the AI breaks it down into concrete advice: what worked, what to train, and where the team can improve. No jargon, just observations you can use at the next session.

• Video & photo analysis — upload footage and receive a structured tactical breakdown powered by AI.
• Player scans — select a player from a video or image and get an individual analysis of technique, positioning and movement.
• Tactical profiles — the AI builds a profile for each player over time, so advice becomes more specific the more you use it.
• Training exercises — turn any analysis into ready-made drills you can run at the next practice.
• Match preparation — check the weather, set your formation, and get tactical suggestions based on conditions and your opponent.
• Tactics board — draw formations, passing lines and runs on a digital pitch.
• Live match tracking — log goals, assists, cards, turnovers and substitutions in real time. Stats are calculated per player and per team.
• Line-ups — build your starting eleven, manage substitutions across quarters, and publish the line-up so players see it in their Team App.
• Team logbook — keep notes on individual players, track development and store observations after each match.
• AI chat assistant — ask hockey-related questions and get answers informed by your team data.

TEAM APP — KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING SATURDAY

Players join with a six-character code from their coach. Once connected, everything the coach publishes appears automatically.

• Line-up — see your position and the full team formation as soon as the coach shares it.
• Schedule — match dates, times and locations in one overview.
• Team feed — updates, messages and announcements from the coach.
• Personal stats — goals, assists, cards and playing time tracked across matches.
• Training — upcoming sessions and drills shared by the coach.
• Match preparation — weather, tactics and opponent info before each game.
• Knowledge base & FAQ — field hockey rules, terms and common questions answered.

HOW IT WORKS

When you open HockeyIQ for the first time, you pick whether you coach a team or play in one. Each side has its own login, its own interface and its own features. You can switch between them at any time from Settings.

Coaches create a team and get an invite code. Players enter that code and they're connected — the line-up, schedule and feed update automatically.

HOCKEYIQ PRO

AI features — video analysis, player scans, tactical advice and the chat assistant — require a HockeyIQ Pro subscription. A 7-day free trial is included so you can try everything before deciding.

The Team App requires a one-time team pass for players.

Available in English and Dutch.

Subscription details: • Full AI Access: €7.99/month • 7-day free trial, then auto-renews monthly • Payment charged to Apple ID account • Cancel anytime at least 24h before renewal via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Users can also manage or cancel subscriptions in their App Store Account Settings.

AI Analysis Credits: A one-time purchase of 5 AI Credits for €3.99. These credits remain valid until used and do not have an expiration date.

Payment: Payment is charged to the user's iTunes Account upon confirmation of purchase via the device's physical side-button.
