This mobile application is designed for the public and students. By browsing text, pictures and maps, program users can quickly and easily understand and appreciate calligraphy works, thereby encouraging them to actively explore traditional calligraphy, a treasure of Chinese culture.

This mobile application has two main functions:
Browse by Category:
Appreciate local Chinese calligraphy works from the following five categories: 1) local clan culture, 2) charity and civic culture, 3) revolutionary culture, 4) multi-religious culture and 5) popular culture. The user can browse the pictures in the order of coding. With this browsing method, the user can simulate walking on a specific route, sequentially appreciate the calligraphy works in different locations of the building, and think about the relationship between calligraphy and the environment.

The GPS-Enabled Map is marked with a flag to show the location of the Chinese calligraphy works covered by this research project. Users can quickly search for the location of calligraphy works near their location, easily plan routes and navigation, visit the destination or conduct field inspections.
