RiffStick turns your phone into a rehearsal room whiteboard where you can jot down lyrics, chords, arrangements, and feedback on a grid of colorful sticky notes. The Board tab lays out every idea as a neon note with a curled corner, and you can tap any note to edit its title and content or swipe to delete it. Each note belongs to a category—Lyrics, Chords, Arrangement, or Feedback—so you can keep song parts instantly recognizable. When inspiration strikes during a loud rehearsal, the Add tab gives you a distraction-free form with a large text area and four bold category buttons. Just type a headline, pick a category, fill in the body, and hit the marker icon to save. The note appears on the Board with a soft peel-in animation and a short scribble effect that feels like scratching an idea onto a physical whiteboard. Head over to the Dashboard to see your total notes count, notes created this week, and a quick preview of your three most recent ideas. Those counters are drawn in dry-erase marker style, complete with smudges that make the space feel alive. If you need to find a specific riff or lyric line, the Search tab instantly filters through every note’s title and content, all stored locally on your device. Because everything lives directly on your phone, you never need an account or an internet connection to capture, revisit, or refine your work. That also means your private songwriting fragments stay completely offline and in your control. Swiping left on any note in the Board quietly removes it, keeping your whiteboard clean and focused. The large, high-contrast touch targets and marker-like type make it easy to tap the right thing even when you’re standing up with an instrument in one hand. The colored category stamps—a mic for lyrics, a guitar for chords, a gear for arrangement, and a speech bubble for feedback—let you identify a note’s purpose at a glance.
