Fire a village ceramic kiln with Fuel Plus and Fuel Minus pads that change the set point. Heat lags behind fuel, so you must plan ahead on the circular dial instead of reacting late. Hold the needle in the safe arc without overshooting into danger ticks that punish haste. Leaving the arc too long fails the ware. Harder firings shrink the arc and demand longer steady holds. Keep kiln heat true to clear the batch and open a hotter firing stage with thinner safe arcs. Lead the lagging heat, avoid overshoot ticks, and finish the steady hold before the safe arc shrinks again.
