Bought a new Pocket 2 but once updated to the latest version as soon as I go to album and open it up, every single button on the device freezes. it stays like this for 30 seconds to a minute and then switches off. So, I have no way of viewing photos on the device unless I upload them to my phone. I used the album for a few hours before I linked to my phone, so its only since the upgrade. Once it (inevitably) stops linking to my phone, it'll basically be a view only device!
