Color Gate is a one-thumb arcade game about reading colour under pressure. A ball falls, gate after gate, and every gate asks you the same question twice: what colour am I where you touch me?

HOW IT PLAYS

Tap anywhere to cycle the ball's colour. When it reaches a gate, the colour where it makes contact has to match — going in. Then, while you are still inside, the exit point is already showing you something else. Tap again. Get it right and you slip through. Get it wrong and the run ends right there.

That second tap, made in the half-second you are inside a gate, is the whole game.

THREE MODES, THREE THINGS TO READ

RINGS — Spinning colour wheels. Read the rotation, judge where the wedge will be when you arrive.

WALLS — Thick walls of sliding stripes, the top belt and the bottom belt running opposite ways. Watch the boundaries march towards your column.

SWING — Nothing moves except you. The wall stands perfectly still while the ball swings from side to side, so you enter at one stripe and leave at another. Read your own path.

THREE SPEEDS

Easy, Medium and Hard change how fast you fall and how fast the gates move. Start gentle. Work up to the runs where you are matching colours faster than you can think about them.
