Heraklion Wines

The "Heraklion Wines" application was created in the context of the project "Digital Wine Routes: Wine as a means of displaying and promoting the cultural stock of Heraklion".
The project, among other things, aims to highlight the centuries-old wine-producing activity in the Municipality of Heraklion, to present the native varieties and wineries of the region through rich digital material, to get to know the wine producers through presentations and interviews, to digitally record and document objects , tools and machinery, related to the wine of Heraklion, as well as in the interactive tour of the wine routes of Heraklion through applications for mobile devices.
The project has been included in the Operational Program "CRETE 2014-2020" and was financed by the European Union (European Regional Development Fund) and by national resources, with the Municipality of Heraklion as beneficiary.
