WHAT BUNKERDOC DOES

• Scan documents with auto-edge detection (powered by Google ML Kit, on- device).
• Search the text inside your documents thanks to on-device OCR.
• Tag and filter your vault by type: bills, contracts, IDs, receipts, anything.
• Set expiration reminders for documents that matter (driver's license, insurance, contracts). Notifications stay generic on your lock screen,
never revealing the document.
• Import existing PDFs and treat them like any scanned document.
• Backup your whole vault, encrypted with a passphrase you choose, to any location you pick (Drive, SD card, local storage — your call).

PRIVACY BY DESIGN

• AES-256 encryption (SQLCipher database + Android Keystore-backed file encryption).
• Biometric unlock: no biometric, no access.
• FLAG_SECURE always on: Android blocks screenshots, screen recording, and the recent-apps preview from leaking your content.
• No analytics, no crash reports, no telemetry, no advertising SDKs.
• No backend. We do not operate servers; we cannot read your documents.

A NOTE ABOUT PERMISSIONS

• Camera: only to scan pages. Frames stay on-device.
• Storage: only when you choose to import a PDF or save a backup.
• Notifications (Android 13+): only for expiration reminders you set yourself.
