Features & Capabilities

HeartOut makes auditioning simple from your Android phone. Join an audition by scanning a QR code or entering an organizer-provided code, complete registration, and record your performance live with no editing or camera-roll uploads. Organizers control the number of takes and submission requirements.

The app supports school auditions, honor bands, competitions, casting calls, multi-event auditions, scheduled in-person or video sessions, and live organization-hosted sessions. Uploads can continue after connection loss or app closure, while private audition videos remain accessible only to the organization running the audition.

User Reviews

The app seems to be great at first glance. However I have done multiple auditions on it. 3 to be exact And each one has had multiple different technical difficulties and errors. Every time I try to submit my audition it does not work it says it doesn't upload. I know this is not an issue with my Wi-Fi or anything like that and it's very frustrating because I have missed the deadline to several auditions because of this. It is also a struggle to sign into the app. It always says "error"

Always sending error message. We tried 3 different devices, my child's recordings were all gone and just showed error messages. Edit: this app has issues, it is not only us who encountered these problems. Definitely not user error since more than 70% of users encountered problems with your app! Just fix the bugs so we do not have to contact customer support team!
