Hearthkeeper

Your to-do list, rebuilt as a cozy old-school RPG.

Hearthkeeper turns the chores, habits and errands you actually need to do into the fuel for a living fantasy village. Wipe the counter, answer the email, take the walk: every real task you finish kindles your Hearthfire, earns XP and gathers the materials your village needs to grow.

TRIED TO-DO LISTS BEFORE AND BURNED OUT?
Most task apps are great at telling you what you haven't done. Hearthkeeper is built the other way around.
• No punishment, ever. Miss a day and nothing is taken from you. No broken-streak shame, no red warnings, no guilt.
• Streaks and consistency are rewarded more than raw volume, so showing up beats grinding.
• Things start small. Log a quick habit with one tap, or check off a single deed and watch something happen.
• Needs Watching surfaces recurring chores by how overdue they are, so you never have to remember what's next.
• A built-in Chore Timer helps you start, and pays a bonus for focused time.

A TASK SYSTEM THAT HOLDS UP ON ITS OWN
Strip away the fantasy and it's still a capable planner:
• Habits you can log any number of times a day
• Dailies on fixed days, or on their own clock (every N days)
• To-dos with due dates and priorities
• Projects with checklists, and a chore Library for jobs you pull in when you notice them
• Reminders, categories, search and filters

PLAY LIKE YOU REMEMBER
Under the hood is a full old-school RPG, drawn in hand-made pixel art:
• Build up Emberhome, your Settlement, and a shared Town of buildings that turn materials into better materials.
• Hire heroes, each with an archetype and an element (Ember, Root or Tide), and send your party on expeditions across dozens of regions.
• Fight turn-based battles where element matchups matter, then craft, equip and merge gear across three tiers.
• Level up your Hearth, unlock new buildings and heroes as you go, and chase the next upgrade.
The twist: your power comes from real life. Nothing you can buy makes you stronger, because progress is earned by doing the thing.

BETTER TOGETHER
Run your household like a guild:
• Share Town Deeds with your family or roommates, and assign them to specific people.
• Put an old tablet on the fridge as a Deed Board: anyone can tap a deed done and pick who gets the credit.
• Set up a Rewards shop where household members earn Stars toward real-life treats, with an owner approving each request.
• Sign in to back up and sync your progress across devices.

MADE FOR THE LONG HAUL
• No ads.
• No pay-to-win and no sold progress. Rewards come from your effort, not your wallet.
• Light and dark themes, so your hearth looks right day or night.
