HContacts Backup keeps a safe, private copy of the data that matters most on your phone — your contacts, call history, and text messages — without ever sending it to the cloud.

When you create a backup, the app reads your device once and saves a snapshot on your phone. From then on, every screen reads from that saved snapshot — never your live phone — so you can explore your history freely and safely.

HContacts Backup is built around a simple promise: your personal data stays on your device. The app requests access to Contacts, Call Log, and SMS for one reason only — to create and restore your personal backups at your request. None of this information is transmitted, shared, sold, or analyzed off your device.

Permissions explained:
• Contacts — to back up and restore your contacts.
• Call Log — to include your call history in the backup.
• SMS — to include your text messages in the backup.

Works great alongside the HContacts contacts manager, but is fully standalone — you don't need anything else to use it.
