Tiny Dragons: Pre-K Chinese

Tiny Dragons introduces young children to Mandarin the way a preschool immersion classroom does: a few characters at a time, spoken out loud, revisited week after week.

Tap a character and hear it said in Mandarin. Tone is the part a written spelling can never carry, and it is the part a small child picks up fastest by ear.

LESSONS
A week at a time, opening on the current one. Each week shows its characters, large enough to fill a small hand's view, plus that week's sing-along song. Move between weeks with the arrows, a swipe, or by tapping the week name.

BOOKS
The unit's story books, each with a Chinese read-aloud. A story she liked three weeks ago is still worth another bedtime.

VOCABULARY
Everything learned so far, in one place, grouped the way preschools group it: Chinese Language Arts, Math, Health and Science, Social and Emotional. Tap any word to hear it.

EVERY WORD IS EXPLAINED
Characters and words carry their pinyin and a plain English meaning, so a parent who does not read Chinese can still follow along and practise at dinner.
