Haya-Ben – Multilingual Vocabulary Learning with Flashcards

Haya-Ben helps you create, organize, and study vocabulary in English, Japanese, Vietnamese, and other language pairs. Whether you are preparing for Eiken, JLPT, TOEIC, IELTS, or studying a personal topic, you can learn with flashcards, listen to TTS pronunciation, track progress, and review words you have not mastered.

Create and Organize Decks

• Export decks to CSV for backup or sharing

AI Factory – Create Decks by Topic

Choose the source language, target language, number of words, and topic. AI Factory supports OpenAI and Anthropic through a BYOK model.

• Use your own API key
• API keys are stored securely on your device
• API keys do not pass through a Haya-Ben intermediary server
• Regular flashcard study does not require an AI account or API key

Pronunciation and Listening Support

• Listen to vocabulary and sample sentences with text-to-speech
• Adjust speech rate and pitch
• Use languages supported by your device’s TTS engine

Learning Statistics

• Study time today and this month
• Adjustable daily goal and learning streak

The default daily goal is 30 minutes and can be changed on the Stats screen. If the app closes during a session, it is finalized when the app opens again to help keep statistics accurate.

Local-First and No Account Required

• Learning data is stored on your device
• No account or email address required
• Does not collect the Android Advertising ID (AAID)
• API keys are protected with secure storage
• Analytics events do not include prompts, deck names, vocabulary, translations, API keys, or AI-generated content

Suitable for Users Aged 9 and Over

Haya-Ben is designed for users aged 9 and older and is configured with Google Play Families requirements in mind.

• Ads are non-personalized with restricted content ratings
• AAID is not collected
• AI features use an age gate or parental gate
• Learning data is stored primarily on the device
