13 Hammers: Sight Reading

Feel justified pride by striving to grow from no musical knowledge or experience to sight reading piano pieces*. You need a piano or keyboard to practice on, or just sing along and keep up with the accompaniment if away from your instrument!

This app provides a confidence building curriculum of daily exercises of 15 minutes so you have a simple, structured, path with tangible milestones and a great accomplishment that will impress yourself and others at the beginning, middle, and end of your journey.

* Get your A.R.T. (accuracy, rhythm, and tempo) score with real time feedback! (requires MIDI connection to piano)

Curriculum:
Level 0-9: The very basics- start from middle C and end with C major scale, two hands
Level 10-19: sight reading intervals & the 6 octave grand staff & key signatures
Level 20-24: chords! 3/4 time
Level 26-29: 6/8 time

Future ideas:
Level 30-39: Leaps
Level 40-49: Sixths! Stretch that thumb and pinky!
Level 50-59: Sevenths and 8ths
Level 60-69: Finger crossings
Practice key signatures, dynamics, and increasingly challenging & fun rhythms in every level.
