Play 9×9 five-in-a-row AI game with ads, stats and sleek minimalist design
Gomoku Lite — Five in a Row, Minimized
Gomoku Lite distills the classic five-in-a-row strategy game into a focused 9×9 board experience with a clean Minimalist White aesthetic. Play black against a heuristic AI playing white — first to line up five stones horizontally, vertically, or diagonally wins.
Gameplay
- 9×9 board with stones placed on intersections
- Player plays Black and moves first; AI plays White
- Win by forming an unbroken line of five in any direction (horizontal, vertical, two diagonals)
- Draw if the board fills with no winner
- Last move highlighted with a subtle blue dot
- Winning line highlighted in green across the five stones
AI Opponent
- Heuristic scoring AI: evaluates every empty intersection along 4 directions
- Pattern scoring table: open four (100000), four (10000), open three (1000),three (100), two (100),etc.
- Forced-move detection: instantly takes a winning move or blocks the opponent's winning move
- Center-preference bonus to encourage central play
- Millisecond response,suitable for a "Lite" difficulty
Undo System
- 3 free undos per game (rewinds both player's and AI's last moves)
- When undos run out, watch a rewarded ad to gain 3 more
- Undo usage is tracked per game (affects the "Flawless" achievement)
