Fortune Tides

The sea only gets angrier from here. Spin the helm, ride out the storm, and at every island make the only choice that matters: bank what you are carrying, or sail on for more.

Fortune Tides is a push-your-luck pirate voyage. Every spin of the helm sends your ship forward — into gold, into a helping hand, or into the spyglass, where the sea shows you two roads and makes you pick one. Take the sure, smaller haul, or hold the helm through a storm crossing for the bigger one. Reach the island, tap the chests open, then stand at the rail and decide: RETURN TO PORT with everything, or SAIL ON with all of it still at risk.

The rule the whole game is built on: luck only gives. The helm never takes your gold. You lose only in a crossing you chose to attempt — and your first storm of every voyage never hits you.

WHAT YOU DO
- Spin the helm to sail; the sea climbs from CALM SEAS to CHOPPY to GALE to FURIOUS
- Read the spyglass and pick your road: guaranteed and small, or big and risky
- Hold the helm steady through storm crossings and watch the needle settle
- Crack open chests on every island for gold
- Take a free card at every island's black market, and pay for buffs out of your hold
- Bank or push — the island shows exactly what returning now pays before you choose

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
- Your hull is the only thing a storm can cost you. Nothing is ever washed off your deck.
- Sink and your cargo goes to the Kraken's Hoard — a debt with a name, waiting to be won back
- Build a crew of permanent cards, level them with copies, and pick a captain each voyage
- Levels are never lost, so a bad voyage still moves you forward
- Short voyages built for one hand, in portrait
