City Hide & Seek

Your city is the game board. One player hides, one player hunts — and the map slowly closes in.

City Hide & Seek turns any town or city into a giant 1v1 game of hide and seek. The hider picks the play zone, takes a head start, and vanishes into the streets. The seeker closes in with clever questions — answered automatically and honestly by GPS. No cheating, no arguments, just the chase.

HOW A GAME WORKS
• The hider draws the play zone on the map, sets a head-start timer, and goes to ground anywhere inside it.
• The seeker asks questions to narrow the search. Every answer carves away part of the map, shrinking the zone where the hider can be.
• But information has a price: each answered question hands the hider new cards.

THE QUESTIONS
• Radar — "Am I within 500 m of you?" Yes or no, straight from GPS.
• Measuring Stick — is the hider closer or further than a set distance? The map splits accordingly.
• Photo — demand a snapshot of the hider's surroundings: the view, the street, the shop…
• Match & Measure — compare your locations. Same suburb? Same distance from the airport?

THE CARDS
Bonus time to pad the hider's score. Vetoes to dodge a dangerous question. Task and penalty cards that stop the seeker in their tracks while the clock keeps running. Play them well and the hunt drags on; waste them and the zone collapses around you.

THE ENDGAME
When the seeker finally closes in, the hider's score is locked: how long they evaded the seeker, plus banked bonus minutes. Swap roles, run it back, and settle who owns the city.
