Order and delivery management
Real-time tracking and GPS navigation: Integrates with mapping services like Google Maps to provide the most efficient route for deliveries. Customers can also track the delivery boy's live location.
Accept or reject orders: Delivery personnel can choose to accept or decline newly assigned orders based on their current availability and workload.
Order status updates: The app allows delivery boys to update the status of an order throughout the delivery process, such as "Order Picked Up," "Out for Delivery," and "Delivered".
Digital proof of delivery: For enhanced security and accountability, the app can require a photo of the delivered parcel or a customer's signature upon delivery.
Order history: A complete log of all past deliveries is available, providing a record of completed orders.
Authentication: Deliveries can be secured by requiring a one-time password (OTP) from the customer, which the delivery boy must enter into the app to complete the order.
Communication and support
In-app chat: Facilitates direct communication between the delivery boy and the admin or customer to resolve issues, clarify directions, or manage last-minute changes.
Push notifications: The delivery person receives automatic alerts for new order assignments, order cancellations, and other status updates.
Contact customer: Includes an option for the delivery boy to call the customer directly from the app for guidance or clarification.
Daily operation features
Dashboard: Provides a concise overview of the day's activity, including assigned orders, earnings, and performance metrics.
Online/offline status: A simple toggle that allows the delivery boy to indicate their availability to accept new orders.
Profile management: The delivery boy can view and edit personal details, vehicle information, and profile photos.
Payment collection: Enables the delivery person to manage cash-on-delivery (COD) orders and record collected amounts directly within the app.
Earnings and commissions: Displays a summary of total earnings, delivered orders, and commissions.
Multi-language support: Offers multiple language options to make the app accessible to a diverse workforce.
