🎮 How to Play

Every round in Guess the Imposter works like this:

• All players see the word
• One player (the Impostor / Imposter) does not
• Each player gives one short clue
• The Impostor must give a clue that sounds correct
• After clues, everyone talks and tries to find who is lying
• Then all players vote for the Impostor

If the Impostor stays hidden → they win the round.
If the group finds the Impostor → the others win.

Simple rules. Big laughs. Lots of suspicion.

As the Impostor, you must:

• Pretend you know the word
• Give a safe and believable clue
• Avoid saying something too specific
• Try to push votes onto other players
• Stay calm and bluff until the end

If your clue sounds strange, you will be caught.

As a normal player, you must:

• Compare clues
• Look for strange or vague hints
• Catch players who clearly don’t know the word
• Vote for the person who is faking
