The Guardian SMS Helper ("we", "our", "the app") is a companion app to Guardian P2P. Its sole function is to allow Guardian P2P to send emergency alerts via SMS when the user's device is offline. This app does not operate independently and does not have a user interface for collecting personal data beyond what is necessary for its primary function.

Use of the Accessibility API:
The Guardian SMS Helper uses the Android Accessibility API exclusively to automate the sending of emergency SMS messages in critical situations. When the main app (Guardian P2P) detects that the device is offline, the SMS Helper uses accessibility services to interact with the system's default messaging app and send the alert. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data or message content through this service.
