SchoolGuard is a critical mobile panic button app designed specifically for K-12 school staff to respond swiftly during active school shooting emergencies. When activated, the app simultaneously dials 911 and sends immediate alerts to nearby federal, state, and local law enforcement officers connected via the Hero911 Network, whether on or off duty.

Additionally, the app notifies all school staff within the affected school and displays a mapped location of the incident to help coordinate responses effectively. It also extends alerts to other protected schools within a 5-mile radius to enhance community safety.
