Pros

When it works, it is very convenient to open the gate from the phone.
Easy setup process for the app and hardware.
Offers features like background wallpaper and telemetry for gate status.

Cons

Unreliable connectivity and frequent disconnections.
Lag and slow response times when opening or closing the gate.
Does not consistently provide accurate gate status or notifications.
The app frequently resets settings, causing user frustration.
No updates or improvements for Android users in a significant time period.

Recent reviews

60% of the time it works every time. I'm not sure if it's the app or the hardware, but I constantly get "door obstructed" warnings when there is no obstruction. I've had the garage randomly open and close in the middle of the night. Not a good product and/or app. Get a liftmaster.

I have Samsung GS10e. This app works very slowly. Does not maintain the set power level, always switches back to low setting. To open or close the gate (or check current status) it takes about 30 to 45 seconds, and is difficult to determine if it's ready to receive the command to operate. Very clumsy, but does get the job done. It has not been updated in more the 1.5 years, so probably lucky it works at all. The July 2024 update really didn't improve the operation.
