GroupLocate lets you share your live location with members

When you install the app, your own group is automatically created for you. Share your invite code or QR code, and others can join instantly. No sign-up, no email, no phone number required.

Join any group with a QR code or invite code, and see everyone's shared locations on one map. GroupLocate is designed for simple, lightweight group coordination.

How it works:
• Your own group is created automatically upon app installation.
• Set a display name, share your invite code or QR code, or join a new group.
• Start sharing — you see others, and others see you.
• Stop sharing at any time inside the app

Permissions:
• Camera is used only to scan QR codes for joining groups
• Location is used to show your live position on the group map
• Background location is optional and is used only if you allow it, so location sharing can continue while the app moves to background

Privacy:
GroupLocate only accesses precise location after permission is granted. Your location is shared only with the group members you choose while sharing is enabled.

GroupLocate is not an emergency or life-safety service. Do not rely on it as your only method for safety-critical situations.
