2026-07-13	St*****	Grim Tides is a great little rpg to take on a long trip if you've forgotten your other portable consoles or are primarily a mobile gamer in general. There is a decent amount of build crafting, between stats, items, skills/spells, and perks, too. The story is pretty good as well. The weakest part, realistically, is the actual dungeon crawling but I think more of an issue of being on mobile than it is this game. 4/5 for me, always coming back every few months.

2026-07-12	Sk*****	Compared to grim quest the game has better RPG elements, a more interesting story and dungeon events. The choice between spellcasting and using weapons is badly balanced though. Weapon type restrictions is a poor mechanic that makes You sell good weapons you find because they can't be used with the abilities you trained which is a massive feelsbad (no such issue for spells), and I'm surprised that gunslinging is an option in grim quest but not here where it would fit more setting-wise.
