GRID REAVER: Idle Loot RPG

Place your gear on the grid. The fighting happens on its own: a grid-placement hack-and-slash idle RPG.

Dive into the God-corpse, the vast ruin of a fallen civilization, and dig up relics to grow stronger. No tricky controls. Put the gear you find on the grid, and the auto-battle does the rest.

■ Easy to learn in minutes
Pick a dungeon and dive. Your hero fights and loots alone. Come back, place what you found, dive again. No long tutorial.

■ Where you place it matters
Lay out weapons, armor and relics on a 6×4 grid, and neighbors trigger synergies. Move one piece and the same items become a different build. With only 24 cells, the hard choice is what to leave out.

■ No two drops are the same
Prefixes and suffixes change every piece. Some raise attack, some power up their neighbors, some spike hard at a cost. Rarity sets how far a piece can be upgraded. Unwanted gear can go to auto-sell, so you never sort every drop by hand.

■ Deeper means better loot
Dungeons have no bottom. Enemies get tougher, loot gets better, and Mythic relics drop only in the depths. Wardens guard the milestones, each with relics of its own. Fall in battle and you lose what you carried, so when to turn back is your call. Once you have gone deep, you can start near your record (a few times per day, for a fee in credits).

■ Read the matchup first
Enemies deal physical or energy damage and resist different things. The Codex shows it all before you go. Your grid locks when you dive, so swap first. Unexpected events wait along the way.

■ Classes and Archetypes
Each class has its own active skill. Collect matching tags on your gear to unlock an Archetype, a power for your whole grid. The tags you chase can make one class a whole new fighter.

■ Grows while you are away
Battles are automatic, so runs keep going when you are not watching. Come back to a little loot waiting, and your first few returns each day give extra EXP and credits. An idle game or a deep roguelite. It is both.

■ Take your build into PvP
Your build becomes your defense, and other players challenge it in asynchronous PvP. Nothing ties you down in real time. Leaderboards for kills, deepest dive, power, rating, win streak and defense show where you stand. The Throne waits at the top, and friends can hold practice matches. Not into PvP? Leave the Arena from Settings.

■ Solo, with others around
The Global chat shows moments like someone finding a Mythic or a new ruler taking the Throne. Reading along is fine.

■ The world reveals itself
Diving fills the Codex of Records with fragments. What was the God-corpse? Who dove first?

■ Ascension
Reset to level 1 for a permanent boost and dive deeper than before. Finish a run, grow stronger, start again, as many times as you like. Titles and emblems show what you have built.

■ You cannot buy strength
You can buy time-saving boosts, the Dive Drone companion, and cosmetics. Gear strength and PvP results are never for sale. Nowhere in the game is closed to free players.

■ Easy to play
Large buttons, clear text, no manual needed. Portrait, one hand. Sign up and your data is saved to the cloud, so a new phone picks up where you left off.
