SafeStay

SafeStay is a privacy and security app for people staying in hotels, Airbnb, guesthouses, and unfamiliar places. It brings together tools to help you feel more informed about your surroundings and the network around you — with a focus on on-device use.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Camera-assisted checks with on-screen guidance for a visual inspection of the room.
• Infrared (IR) detection when the hardware supports it, to help spot infrared light sources.
• Sensor readings (e.g. magnetometer) for indicators that may help inspect nearby objects or surfaces.
• Bluetooth scanning to list or review nearby Bluetooth devices, subject to system permissions.
• Network and Wi‑Fi insights and features focused on the security of the network you are connected to.
• Travel and stay privacy helpers, with UI in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

IMPORTANT

SafeStay is a support tool. Results depend on your phone hardware, permissions granted, and the environment. The app does not replace a professional inspection and does not guarantee detection of any illegal device. Use common sense and respect local privacy and law.

ADS AND PURCHASES

The app may show ads. Where available, you can support development with in-app purchases (as offered by the store).

PERMISSIONS

Features may request access to the camera, sensors, Bluetooth, location, and network as needed. You control what you allow in Android settings.
