My smart plug just stopped working. I got a new router that uses both 5.0 and 2.4 GHz and this outdated piece of trash app only accepts a dedicated 2.4 GHz network meaning I would have to split my connection which is not recommended by my ISP. Hoping that there's a new or alternative app I can use but this one is useless to me now.

Like others, I was using my plugs for a long time very smoothly and then they suddenly stopped connecting to the google home app. Haven't connected for months. :(
