Jungle Raft is a tilt-controlled endless river runner set on a single,
hand-painted Amazon current. You stand on a small wooden raft that drifts
forever downriver between dense canopy and warm muddy banks; the entire
device becomes your rudder. Lean left and the raft cuts left, lean right
and it carves right, and the river never stops giving you something to
react to.
Two original jungle backdrops are reused across every screen to keep the
download tiny, while four transparent sprites - the raft, ripe bananas,
the river crocodile and a curious jungle monkey - drive the gameplay.
Bananas dot the current and are the only currency in the game; collect
them to refill your pockets, and every fifty bananas in a single run
triggers a thundering speed boost that briefly carries the raft past
anything in its path. Crocodiles cruise straight ahead and snap; monkeys
swing across the water on unpredictable diagonals. Touch either of them
without protection and the run ends.
The raft shop turns those banana savings into permanent upgrades. Five
hand-tuned rafts are available, from the humble Driftwood Float to the
fastest, triple-shielded Sunfire Skipper. Each raft has its own speed
multiplier and protection charge count, and the equipped raft visually
re-tints during the run so progress is always visible on screen.
Local records are kept after every drift. The ten longest runs are
ranked by distance and stamped with the raft you used, giving you a
private leaderboard to chase across rainy afternoons.
