Doodle Pop Blocks: Kids Art

Doodle Pop Blocks is a drawing game for young children: color in the squares of a grid to make a picture, and the picture pops out into the world as 3D blocks.

■ How to play

• Drag a finger across the grid to color the squares. A faint guide picture shows the shape, so even first-timers end up with something they recognize.
• Tap the check button and the drawing turns into blocks and appears in the world.
• Add a face with eye, mouth and decoration stickers (30 kinds).
• Most buttons use pictures instead of words.

■ Story (4 worlds)

• Travel through four worlds in turn: a meadow, the sea, the night and the sky.
• The residents of each world ask for something to be drawn, shown as a picture in a speech bubble. There are 13 drawing prompts in all.
• Each world starts out gray and colorless, and gets its color back a little with every drawing.

■ Create (one-time in-app purchase)

"Create" is a paid add-on (one-time purchase). It can be played once the story has been played to the end and the add-on has been purchased. With the purchase you can:
• Draw your own pictures and friends, place them in any of the 4 worlds and move them around with a finger.
• Paint block figures (a person, a bunny, a cat and more, 5 in all) and place them in the world.
• Use 40 special stickers (crowns, glasses, gem eyes and more).
• Remove the banner ad at the top of the screen.
Purchases are made on the Google Play purchase screen. Whether a password, fingerprint or Family Link approval is required depends on your Google Play settings.
The special stickers also appear, locked, in the sticker list during the story; tapping one opens the purchase prompt.

■ About ads

• Until the purchase, a banner ad is shown at the top of the screen.
• Ads are served with child-directed settings; interest-based (personalized) ads are not shown.
• There are no full-screen ads; the banner is the only ad.

■ For parents

• No sign-up or login. Your child is never asked to enter a name or other personal details.
• Drawings and progress are saved only on the device and are not sent to our servers.
• In Settings (the gear button) you can export and import a save file (for moving to a new phone) and delete all records.

■ Languages

8 languages (Japanese, English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Korean and Simplified Chinese). The game follows your device language, and you can change it in Settings.
