GoWeya

GoWeya is for the plan you would make if you knew who was free.

Post what you want to do, or join something already on. Badminton on Tuesday. Coffee at 3pm. A walk with cameras and no small talk. You see what is happening near you in the next few days, and who is going.

HOW IT WORKS

Say what you want to do, when, and roughly where. Or open the feed and find something already happening.

Ask to join, or join instantly if the host has left it open. Hosts see who is asking before they say yes.

The exact meeting point is shared once you are in. Until then everyone sees an approximate area, never an address.

Talk in the activity chat. Sort out who is bringing what, run a poll on where to eat, share a photo after.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

No star ratings. People build a record of turning up: how many activities they have attended, how many they have hosted, whether they cancel late. You see the counts, not a score out of five.

Your location is protected by design. Activities show an approximate area until you are accepted. Distances are bucketed, so nobody can work out where you live from the numbers.

You can go by a handle. Hosts can run an activity where nobody uses their real name until everyone agrees to reveal.

You can only message someone privately after you have actually turned up to something together. Direct messages are end to end encrypted, so nobody at GoWeya can read them. Activity group chats are not encrypted, because reporting and moderation depend on being able to read them.

No ads, no advertisers, no data brokers.

Contribution amounts are text a host writes so you know to bring cash for the court fee. GoWeya never collects, holds or moves money.

GOWEYA PREMIUM

Optional. Free covers everything about safety, joining, privacy and reliability, and always will.

Premium adds filters for cost, host and group size, and shows how full something is before you join. Repeating activities, calendar sync, and travel mode so you can see what is on somewhere before you arrive. Circles, for inviting the same group again without picking names one by one. Hosting without the six-a-month limit, and three boosts a month, always labelled.

GoWeya is 18 and over.

Launching in Metro Manila.
