The A.S.D. RUBICONE IN VOLLEY is a sports club founded in 2004 under the name PALLAVOLO SAN MAURO PASCOLI, with the aim of practicing and promoting, through the work of its members, the sport of volleyball by participating in standard federal championships and organizing a youth sector through training courses held by coaches registered with the Italian Volleyball Federation.

The company, although relatively young, has achieved significant results in both a female and male field in a short period of time, winning 2 tournaments of the C.S.I. and obtaining in the federation championships the promotion from the 1st provincial division to the regional D series and subsequently in C series.

But beyond the sporting results achieved, what matters most to RUBICONE IN VOLLEY is the possibility of creating a robust nursery that gives, especially to the youngest, the opportunity to approach volleyball through training, competition and that team spirit without which every result becomes unattainable. A discipline of life therefore not only intended for the harmonious development of the body, but capable of educating the character and sociability of the individual.

Certainly ambitious but possible objectives, as another objective is ambitious, that is to overcome the municipal dimension and the first official step was taken with the change of name. This unification process has been completed in recent years with the presence in the gyms of San Mauro Pascoli (via Togliatti), Sant'Angelo di Gatteo ("Palasidermec") and Savignano sul Rubicone ("Marie Curie") and in the current composition of the various teams there are boys and girls from the 3 municipalities of the Rubicone area and beyond.

Rubicone In Volley has been participating in federation championships for several years, starting from the youth to senior championships, up to the regional D and C championships. Currently there are about 250 registered athletes, divided into 5 male, 7 female and 3 mixed MiniVolley teams, 1 men's MiniVolley with the technical support of 16 federally registered Trainers.

We are part of the constituent members of the ROMAGNA IN VOLLEY company born from the union of 6 companies (San Mauro Pascoli, Cesena, Cesenatico, Cervia, Forlimpopoli and Longiano). This new entity, which today boasts 10 clubs and 2,500 athletes from 6 years of age, aims to involve young people from a vast territory who are coordinated and organized with common rules and methods.

While maintaining each company autonomy regarding the management of the activities, through the ROMAGNA IN VOLLEY association it was decided to create a common area of ​​free exchange of ideas, initiatives aimed at creating the right volleyball dimension for each boy and girl and has a code of ethics to which all members (managers, coaches and players) must comply. This code in particular is based on the duties of loyalty, fairness and diligence both sporting and behavioral.
