HWP Viewer

HWP Viewer is a free document reader for .hwp and .hwpx files on Android. A lightweight native engine renders pages directly on-device, so you can open a document and start reading instantly — no conversion, no upload.

■ Languages

The app interface is available in both Korean and English. It follows your device's system language automatically.

■ Things to know

• This is an independent third-party viewer, not affiliated with or endorsed by the original document format vendor.
• Some complex layouts (advanced charts, intricate tables, vector drawings, decorative text effects) may render differently from the original.
• Password-protected documents are not supported in the current version. You'll see a clear notice when you try to open one.
• The app is read-only — editing and saving documents is not supported.
• Free, ad-supported app.

■ Permissions

• Internet — for showing ads and checking for app updates.
• File read — used only to open the HWP document you pick from the file chooser. The app does not scan your storage in the background.
