Keyboard Calendar (Quick Add)

This app adds a text bar to your home screen, enabling you to create calendar events via text only—without opening the calendar app itself.

As long as you type a "calendar command"—for example,

td 3pm meet someone

and then press the Enter key, the event "meet someone" will be inserted into today's 3:00 PM slot in your calendar, without the need to open any calendar app.

Further examples:

20150112 1230PM do something

(adds an event named "do something" on January 12, 2015, at 12:30 PM)

tm 1520 do something

(tomorrow at 3:20 PM)

td 1520 do something

(today at 3:20 PM)

sun do something

(add an event named "do something" at the default time (set by you) on the coming Sunday)

atm 1520 do something

(the day after tomorrow at 3:20 PM)

In case you really need to open your calendar app, this app can act as a launcher. Just type

cal

into the widget and press the Enter key.


This app requires no internet permissions. Your privacy is respected.

"ca" for opening the calendar app
