2025-01-02	Ca*****	Many situations are unrealistic. I have won hands losing more tricks than allowable. Board needs to be more realistic, ie,the played dominoes should remain visible. You can definitely tell it is a computer played game. The version my niece downloaded is much more realistic.

2024-05-20	Ta*****	I like the game but there is a glitch. If I bid 2 or 3 marks, it only allows me to choose High, Low, 7s, ect, but the AI characters can choose it and play straight 42 without being limited to those options. Quite a glaring bias Answering your question. If I bid 2 or 3 marks the only option that comes up is to do High, Low, or 7s. If the AI bids 2 or 3 marks it lets it then pick a Trump, for example 5. It then plays a regular game with the 5 being a trump thru the game. I can't do that

2024-04-05	Er*****	This is the best overall 42 game I have tried. Over last several years it has improved my skills significantly. Averaged winning only 45% of the time for first year and now winning 52% over the last few hundred games played. The normal setting for aggressiveness of the computer is the most challenging. I suggest turn off Sevens or make forced bid only.

2023-12-10	Bi*****	Sometimes (1 in 20+ maybe) you get a bidding hand. It's frustrating to see the 2 opponents get the bid 90% of the time. The game is weighted to much to the computer side. It's simple to play, but having to view every hand as a possible low bid is disappointing.

Once every, 3 games maybe, I am able to get a hand where I can bid straight 42. The AI players can bid just about every hand where me and my AI partner cannot. Mostly I get a double with two supporting dominoes, almost always low ones, like Double 4 with the 4-5 and 4-1, then no other doubles and a straight 5 off. The AI players find their partner about 95% of times.

2023-02-27	Wa*****	Whoever wrote the AI did a really good job. You're not going to win playing straight up as the AI does not make mistakes or get mad and make dumb plays. Play aggressive (outbid) and take advantage of the computer's 2-mark strategy, as it does not change. I'd love to meet and play the authors.

2022-12-15	Ke*****	Could be good, and occasionally will be. However, after a number of games dominoes drawn will be nearly the same, and junk. Also, opponents bid at about a 4:1 rate, and often have the perfect counter to their partner's off. My partner is occasionally a savant, but goes through phases were he is an idiot. I have tried clearing storage and the cache, uninstalling, then reinstalling MANY times, but there is clearly something still held in my phone, as I ll start again with nearly the same hands.

They always seems to have their partners offs and doubles to their trumps. I know this happens, but I've played 42 for real for years and it happens way more in this game than in real life. If the developer reads this change it back to the way it was before. This game is definitely setup for the computer to beat you.

2022-09-10	Ro*****	Update: As of today I've played 11,847 hands, with my partner and I winning 5,975 of them. That's just a hair over 50%, so any reviewer that says the game isn't fair doesn't have the stats to back that up like me. Statistically, that's as fair as it gets. I have 67% win rate on my 3,611 bids. I really like the statistics management in the game. Original review: Great options for house rules. AI plays pretty well. Wish it could do online so the family could join in. Great app!
