Make healthier food choices with GlutenSwitch. Simply scan a barcode to see a product's gluten status, nutrition information and gluten-free healthier alternatives.

GlutenSwitch uses science-based algorithms developed by The George Institute for Global Health - an internationally respected medical research institute.

Whether you're avoiding gluten because you have Coeliac disease or you are gluten intolerant, GlutenSwitch will help you identify the gluten status of a product and give you gluten-free healthier alternatives when grocery shopping.

MAKING GLUTEN_FREE HEALTHIER FOOD CHOICES IS FAST AND EASY
• Barcode Scanner --- Simply scan barcodes to view the gluten status and nutrition information of packaged food products.
• Healthy Food Choices --- See gluten-free healthier choices based on what you scan.
• Health Star Rating mode --- View the healthiness of your scanned product based on Health Star Ratings. The higher the star rating, the healthier the food is.
• Traffic Light Labels mode --- View key components of a food based on colour coded ratings. Red is high, Green is low and Amber is medium.


MORE FEATURES
• View the information of a recently scanned product and their gluten-free healthier alternatives.
• 'Help us out' by capturing photos of items not currently in our product database.


UPDATES TO THE HEALTH STAR RATING SYSTEM
The Government has implemented an update to the Health Star Rating (HSR) system as a result of their five year review. This update has been applied to the GlutenSwitch App.
A two year transition period for the implementation of the updates for manufacturers will apply, with all changes to be fully implemented by 14 November 2022.
During this time you may notice discrepancies between the HSR on pack and the HSR displayed in the GlutenSwitch App. This should resolve itself as manufacturers start to update their packaging.
