A quiet place for your everyday notes and to-dos.

Note brings writing, photos and checklists together in a simple workspace. Capture an idea, plan your day or keep the details you want to remember. Core note-taking works offline without creating a Note account.

WRITE YOUR WAY
Use headings, bold, italic, underlined text, bullet points, numbered lists and checkboxes. Insert photos into a note or add a cover collage. Choose from eight built-in stationery backgrounds, solid colors and optional ruled lines.

KEEP TRACK OF TASKS
Create checklists, mark items complete and set reminders. View completed items separately so you can focus on what remains.

FIND WHAT YOU NEED
Browse notes and checklists together or filter by type. Switch between list and grid layouts, search your notes, add tags, pin important items and archive older ones. Deleted items go to Trash, with a configurable automatic cleanup period.

KEEP USEFUL THINGS CLOSE
Add note and checklist widgets to your home screen where supported. Share a note as text or an image. Use fingerprint lock on compatible devices for an extra layer of access protection.

BACK UP YOUR NOTES
Export a local ZIP backup and restore it when needed. Optional Google Drive backup and sync is currently in testing and available only to approved test accounts. The local note and checklist features do not require Google sign-in. Keep a backup before restoring, as restoration replaces local data.

PRIVACY
Notes are stored on your device unless you choose features such as sharing or Drive sync. The current release uses Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics for usage statistics and diagnostics. Fingerprint lock is an access lock, not end-to-end encryption of backup files. See our privacy policy for details.
