Unfortunately, the PIN app almost always gets stuck at the second press of a digit in a PIN number, leaving me with no other option but reinstall, but that doesn't always work. It only does this on my Galaxy S8. It works on other phones. Otherwise, it would be great. Finally, all alone in my misery, I managed to find out what the problem is: the PIN app freezes when the resolution of the display is 1440x720p. It only works on FHD and 2880x1440

When an app is lunched in alpha stage usually it is pretty bad. When an app for managing money is lunched in alpha stage that's unacceptable. I know that it is a lot of work and money put into something like this but if it was up to me, I wouldn't consider this app yet. Maybe in two years or more when it should actually have been launched. Too bad that we are living in a world that money makes a good product and not the other way around.
