Global Adventurer

Global Adventurer is a hiking, cycling and paddling companion: a topographic map drawn for the outdoors, one-tap recording, offline maps for when the signal runs out, a route planner that can work without a signal, and routes around the world.

RECORD
• One tap to start a hike, ride or paddle. Distance, time and elevation gain update live
• Keeps recording with the screen off, and picks up again if your phone restarts
• Every outing is saved on your phone, with its stats, and can be shared as GPX

A MAP BUILT FOR THE OUTDOORS
• Our own topo style: contours, marked trails, hillshade, huts and shelters
• Vivid, Terrain, Satellite, Minimal and Dark maps, and the topo map goes dark at night
• Offline maps: save an area before you go, and the map, your position and your recording keep working with no signal

PLAN
• Tap points and the route follows trails, bike routes or, on the water, rivers, canals and lakes
• Plan routes with no signal: download the routing data for an area with its offline map and the route is drawn on your phone
• Weather for any point on the map, and tide times for coastal paddles when you ask for them
• Follow a route on the map with the distance left to go
• Open GPX files from your email, files or a download

THE ROUTE STORE
• Long-distance trails across the world, free to use
• Day hikes and rides in more than 30 countries, with their map, elevation profile and photos, ready to follow on the map (Pro)
• Search by place, or find the routes near you

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account. No ads. No analytics. No tracking.
• Your outings stay on your phone. Only the services you use send anything out (routes, the planner, weather, tides, map tiles and Pro), and the privacy policy says exactly what.

GLOBAL ADVENTURER PRO (optional, yearly or for life)
• Our day hikes and rides, ready to follow on the map
• Unlimited offline maps (one area is free)
Pro yearly renews each year until you cancel it in Google Play; Pro for life is paid once.
