Safety On – Walk Home Safe

By: Safety On App
Walk home safe. If you don't check in on time, your guardian gets alerted.

Overview

Features & Capabilities

Someone knows if you don't make it home.

Two apps in one. A safety net for when you're out on your own — and an easy
way for your people to keep track of each other the rest of the time.

Safety On is for the walk from the station. The run at dusk. The first date
with someone you met online. The late shift, the night bus, the taxi you
weren't sure about.

Before you set off, you tell the app where you're going and how long you
think it'll take. You choose one person you trust — your guardian.

Then nothing happens. Your guardian isn't notified. They aren't watching a
map. They're getting on with their evening.

If you check in on time, it stays that way.

If you don't, Safety On starts alerting them — and you don't have to do
anything to make that happen.

How it works

1. Set where you're going and how long you expect to take.
2. Choose a guardian — someone who'd notice if you didn't come back.
3. Set off. Share a live trip link so they can follow you if you want.
4. Check in when you're safe. Or don't, and the alert ladder begins.

The alert ladder

Most personal safety apps give you a panic button. That assumes you can
reach your phone and press it.

Safety On assumes you might not be able to.

Miss your check-in and you get a short grace period and a "Still OK?"
prompt. Miss that too, and alerts begin — escalating in stages, each one
louder than the last, until someone responds.

Not checking in is the call for help.

There's also a one-tap SOS if you need to raise the alarm yourself.

What you get

Free
- Unlimited trips with live location tracking
- Guardian App Alert if you miss your check-in
- One-tap SOS to all your guardians
- A live trip link you can share with anyone

Plus
- Everything in Free
- A backup guardian alerted if the first doesn't respond
- Longer location history

Premium
- Everything in Plus
- A text message with your live location, then a real phone call
- Your guardian doesn't need the app installed at all
- At 1am, a notification on a silent phone is worthless. A ringing phone
isn't.
- Longest location history

Who it's for

Walking home alone at night. Running, cycling or hiking on your own.
Meeting a date for the first time. Getting a taxi late. Lone working and
night shifts. Travelling in an unfamiliar city. Students crossing campus.
Anyone who has ever texted someone "home safe x" and meant it.

Someone knows if you don't make it home.

The second app: My Circle

Keeping in touch, without the group chat.

My Circle is for the ordinary stuff. Who's on their way. Who's still at
work. Who got to the restaurant first and is holding the table.

And it's for the days when you're all somewhere unfamiliar — a city break
where everyone wandered off in different directions, a festival, a day at
the coast, a family holiday where half of you went to the market and the
other half stayed on the beach.

Instead of six messages asking where everyone is, you just look.

Your location, your choice

In a Circle, location sharing is yours to switch on and off. Not paused for
an hour — off.

While it's off, nothing is recorded. Not your position, not your history,
nothing.

Your Circle sees "Not sharing location", so the app is never pretending on
your behalf.

Switch it back on whenever you want.

Location history is off by default. You can leave a Circle at any time.

We don't sell your location. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't
use it for analytics profiling. It goes to the people you chose and nobody
else.

Two apps. One subscription.
