Review summary
Pros
- Easy to use with a simple, intuitive interface.
- Clean, lightweight UI that feels visually appealing.
- Helps create a desktop-like feel on restricted devices (e.g., Chromebooks).
- Landscape-focused design works well on tablets/phones for a desktop-style layout.
- Regular updates and ongoing feature improvements.
Cons
- Orientation is limited to landscape (and upside-down issues on some devices); portrait mode and rotation options are missing.
- Not a true desktop/PC replacement; feels more like a launcher with limited features and customization.
- Stability and compatibility problems on some devices (e.g., Pixel 10 Pro) including bugs like app redirects or freezing.
- UI/UX gaps and feature gaps (cannot easily add shortcuts/files to home screen; limited widget grid and dock customization; lack of freeform/resizable windows by default).

| 2026-05-30 | awesome concept for a portable laptop style setup, I'd appreciate it even more if it can let us use desktop style keyboard shortcuts and have native volume and brightness controls like you see on Linux KDE or windows, also would be cool if it could force all apps to horizontal mode | ||

| 2026-05-24 | Way better than what its made out to be. Rivals the likes of DeX if you use One UI 8's native windowing + some sort of low latency wireless screencasting software. It allows for the likes of widgets to decorate your personal desktop and if you lower your dpi and enable tablet mode, it functions identically to a computer. Very good! 10/10. And one thing to note, unlike other desktoplike launchers which just mimic Windows, this works well with the rounded windows that One UI 8 windowing mode has. | ||
